To further celebrate and make blog anniversaries more fun - a BLOG GIVEAWAY! The fantastic and generous folks at CSN stores have offered a $60 gift certificate to one lucky blog reader, valid to use at any of their stores. Personally I may have to consider getting some new casual plates as I have been breaking quite a few of my nicer dishes in recent days. CSN stores also have a great selection of dishes, including the very inexpensive and casual Corelle line (remember growing up with these?)

Yeah for your 2 year blogiversary!!! You already know how much you have changed what (and how) I cook! With $60, I would probably get a popcorn popper (yes, for the classroom) and use the rest towards a grill pan... either the Caphalon or All Clad (for ME)! I may change my mind but definitely something for my kitchen and not my classroom :-)

Also have made your honey soy ginger chicken recently. It has a been a life saver on particularly tiring nights. I can not believe you started this when Son was 8 months! I have an 8 month now and don't even have the energy to contemplate starting a blog!
Ooooh, I would love to buy the Corelle Hot Dots Livingware Sets, a microplane and servingwares.

I'm a fan! Love the bok choy salad!
I would buy white dinnerware. I really, really want to start a food blog, but I have everything to learn about food photography. I notice that some of the prettiest pictures are taken on simple white dinnerware, letting the the vibrant colors of the food be the main star.

Just TODAY I didn't have time to make food, but had some leftover tofu from last night. Quickly ran over to check your blog for a nice recipe - and came across your "Cold Tofu with Cilantro, Scallions, and Soy Sesame Sauce".
I didn't have any cilantro, unfortunately, but made it anyways - ugh! SO SIMPLE, but SO REFRESHING AND DEEEELICIOUS! It came nicely with the leftover samgyubsal we had!
I would get a smaller covered saute pan (have a big one but is sometimes too big) or a larger saucepan (have two smaller ones and a big stockpot and need something in between).
This is Helen Lee, your fan on Facebook. :)
Since I'm already a Facebook fan, here's my second entry... :)
Last week we had your roasted broccoli bacon pasta twice, once with broccoli and the second time with squash. My husband's all-time favorite so far is the Asian fish tacos. The recipe I've been craving every night since I made it for the first time is the mochi cake, of course!
I'll probably spend it on a le creuset pan :
http://www.cookware.com/Le-Creuset-L2023-2667-LEC2073.html
BTW, going to make the green tea mochi cake. It will be my first recipe. Wish me luck!
Kathy

I would definitely buy a set of pots and pans! About half of my pots and pans were hand-me-downs from my parents when I went to college, and they date from the 70s. They smell of burnt plastic when I use them. It's unsightly. So, new pans it would be!
(for contact--jamesnm@whitman.ed)

I'm of course your fan on Facebook already. My Korean friend that loves to cook got me hooked on your blog.
I love-love-love your mochi cake recipe and all the different variations of it.
