As much as I love receiving presents, I also think very much about what I am going to give. For Husband I have a few ideas in mind (although he continually insists that NO he wants NOTHING), and for any person who has a birthday I mull over and consider deeply what nifty or cool gift I can give them. The planning and thinking around the gifts always makes me excited and eager to hurry up and just give the present already!
I'm very excited about this opportunity to giveaway, as it's been a while. I do wish I could give a prize to EACH blog reader, but alas, I am not independently wealthy in that way. (I've yet to reach Oprah status.) However, I sometimes do get really generous sponsors who are willing to give me great products to giveaway. This time the sponsor of this really wonderful giveaway are the folks over at Golden Grain Pasta. They are allowing me to give away a Cuisinart four piece pasta/steamer se
t and four boxes of their brand new whole grain pasta line, which is heart healthy and fiber-full. As I am a frequent user of the pasta insert on my pot, I can tell you that it is a great way to cook pasta to perfection.
Even if you don't win, you can get a $1 coupon to try the NEW, fiber-full, heart-healthy Golden Grain whole grain pasta line, by going to their Facebook page and "liking" it.

Garlic Scallion Noodles is my family's favorite! I just made it for my 3 kids (2 older ones are very picky eaters - my 3rd loves to eat!) along with the Asian Salmon. They along with my husband can eat this anytime...when I'm feeling desperate about their food intake (not my husband's, just my kids), I always make this dish!
Hi Joanne! I've posted here sporadically here a couple times I think, so I hope you don't think I'm just some random person who's commenting to win your prize - I mean I am commenting to win your prize but I have been regularly reading your blog for a while! :) My favorite pasta dish that you've posted is the Pasta with Creamed Leek Spinach and Sausages. I love love love veggies, and this dish really has a spring-time feel to it with the leeks! I'm keeping my fingers crossed to win!

I haven't made it yet, but I've had pasta with vodka cream sauce bookmarked for a while. I don't drink a lot, so I never seem to have alcohol on hand to cook with!

Macaroni & Cheese - Not from the Box. For some strange reason, I feel like gourmet restaurants make MacnCheese taste worse than the box. Too stiff, or not melty & cheesy enough. The box always brings back great nostalgic memories. I'm always in search of a new mac n cheese recipe hoping I can create one that's from the kithcen, not the box, but still tasting great. This recipe, I really do enjoy.
You had a baked pasta with cheese recipe last October that was awesome. Pasta + Cheese you can't go wrong!
Too many yummy pasta recipes to list them all, but I love your recipe for Orzo with feta cheese and tomatoes, we love to add corn and olives to it since we love corn and olives with everything...wait, orzo counts as a pasta right?

I could not decide on a favorite, but narrowed it down to two of your pasta recipes. The tie is between the pasta with vodka cream sauce and your angel hair pasta with chili, lemon, and arugula. The first had a more traditional Italian feeling to it and the second, I modified slightly to make it spicier and it gave it a nice Thai appeal to it.
I also saw your recipe for Sausage, Spinach, Tomato, Fresh Mozzarella Pasta and I cannot wait to try it, however I think I will substitute the sausage for pepperoni and make it a cold dish instead to help combat the 90+ degree heat taking over North Carolina.
Thank you so much for the wonderful recipes!

My (current) favorite pasta dish is the Orzo with feta, arugula and cranberries!!! One small confession - I actually do make it with the whole grain pasta - spaghetti, and I break it up into shorter pieces. I am NOT just saying that so you will randomly pick me. I really do! It is salty, sweet - just perfect!
