In recent weeks I've been dreaming about a vacation, to some exotic locale, where I can really just leave all my worries behind. I've got a bunch of things on my mind, brewing, sitting, percolating back in my brain, and sometimes I just want to shut it off and get away. I'm pretty sure that Spain, with all of its fantastic eats, beautiful weather and gorgeous landscape would be just the place to forget EVERYTHING, but alas - I can only get away on my magic paella pan and paella myself away!!
I'm so excited that the folks at La Tienda are giving this really neat paella kit to one of my fantastic readers. The company has been around for 15 years, and they specialize in authentic ingredients from Spain, so that your dishes have an authentic flavor. In the paella kit you'll find saffron, olive oil, rice, pimenton and piquillo peppers. It is set it up to whisk you away on a magic paella pan ride to a fantastic new place!

Insomnia pays off! I love how they arrange their platters of thinly sliced ham, which look great with hardly any garnish. I frequently serve meatless salads, and provide a separate plate of sliced meats on the side, and I'll totally going to crib off their arrangement. :)
The Grilling Meats have my mouth watering! The pork looks amazing, So I just may have to treat my family and myself to this!! Especially the Presa Ibérica de Bellota - Pork Shoulder Steak!! What a great find for Authentic Spanish Ingredients!

Yum! My in-laws went to Spain a few months ago and were raving about the ham. I would love to try the Jamon Serrano!I can't wait to make Paella!

you tease me so! i went to spain years ago with a couple of good friends. food was so good there and it's such a laid back country. definitely some good memories!
i would get one of each item from this website, but the big 16 pound jamon serrano on one of those stands could live in my kitchen with a side of tortilla espanola. and can i get a carafe of sangria with that?

Everything looks so good, I would love to try everything on their tapas tab...the largest one I found is 'Spanish Celebration Basket' ^^

I love the pans they have.
Arroz negro paella - I first tried this delicious morsel of food on my first trip to Barcelona, Spain, and have not been able to stop thinking about it ever since. Since then, I have been on the hunt for more arroz negro paella in the U.S., with little success! On my second trip to Spain, I stopped in Valencia, and tried this particularly appetizing paella, which made with squid ink.
christinaglee@gmail.com
im THIS close to ordering a ham holder and one of their jamones...but am also totally tempted to make the same paella you did. either way, this website is definitely bookmarked.
pick me, pick me!

I love that they have ingredients available to order. Living in Kansas, I may not be able to find the ingredients I need at a local store. I also like that they have four different varieties of paella pans in several different sizes. I have wanted a paella pan for a long time.
