I was a voracious reader ever since I can remember, which meant endless amount of hours at the library (which I love but haven't been to in over 8 years). I think I got through over 250 books in my 7/8th grade years combined.

This post is so touching to me because I recently had a lentil soup that was so good, I needed to make it at home. I used a Korean 7 bean blend I had at home that usually toss in with my rice instead and once it was finished, I literally ate soup and read books for days. :)

This rainy weather in the Bay Area right now combines my love of all things.. books, rain, and warm comfy food!Soohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13429687869619557243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6747618293350122712.post-80632186618298580732014-02-25T15:28:30.596-08:002014-02-25T15:28:30.596-08:00I'm a school librarian and your post put a smi...I'm a school librarian and your post put a smile on my face. Teaching my students how to find books in the library, getting to find books they love (and help them discover a book they didn't know they were going to love) as well helping them develop better research skills are part of why I love my job.MsJesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08765668495941714351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6747618293350122712.post-38424043205333327392014-02-25T07:20:53.150-08:002014-02-25T07:20:53.150-08:00oh, I love this reading story! My favorite part o...oh, I love this reading story! My favorite part of being an English teacher in a classroom was winning over the hate-to-read kids. We would have reading periods and I would get out my own book with glee and read too. I loved when they asked for book recommendations because then we could talk, person to person, about what we liked to read and why and what they might like to read. . . ahhhh, good times. My kids are still a little young for this, but we routinely check out stacks and stacks of books. We live 1 block from our big public library, one of the reasons we chose this location when we bought a house! ha - look at my long comment. I love this topic!Margohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16345165456341197559noreply@blogger.com
